Job Description
Garvan Institute of Medical Research is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with experience in immunology and cancer biology to join their research team. The successful candidate will contribute to projects investigating immune responses in cancer, supporting both experimental design and laboratory-based studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical science or a related field
- Hands-on experience in immunological techniques (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, immune cell profiling)
- Cell culture experience
- Ex vivo functional assays experience
- Cancer research models experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
