Job Description
The Cherryville Wellness Attendant will coach members towards a healthier lifestyle, provide the Y experience, and enforce fitness center rules to ensure a safe and organized facility.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge and experience in wellness with team/sports experience or some course work in Wellness/Fitness work preferred
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including lifting, carrying, pulling, standing and walking (up to 50 lbs.)
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
- Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
