Job Description
Coaches members towards a healthier lifestyle while providing the Y experience. The Warlick Wellness Attendant is responsible for educating and instructing members in the proper use of weights and equipment, building effective relationships with members and guests, and designing personalized fitness programs.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge and experience in wellness with team/sports experience or some course work in Wellness/Fitness work preferred.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including lifting, carrying, pulling, standing and walking. (up to 50 lbs.)
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.
