Certified Peer Specialist (CPS)

Gateway Foundation is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to provide support to individuals undergoing substance use and mental health treatment. The role involves serving as a role model, conducting group sessions, and assisting clients with their recovery goals. This position offers opportunities for professional development and working with a diverse population impacted by substance use disorders.

Requirements

• Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) or ability to obtain.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous participation in substance abuse treatment program.
• Therapeutic Community experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must obtain Missouri Department of Corrections clearance.
• Physical ability to walk and interact with clients.
