Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established professional services accounting firm to appoint an Accountant within their Business Services team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality accounting, compliance, and advisory support to a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a professional services / accounting firm (business services or accounts team)
- Strong practical experience using Xero and QuickBooks (both required)
- Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines
- Solid understanding of UK accounting standards, VAT, and compliance processes
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Relevant accounting or finance degree preferred
