Manager, Accounting

At GE Appliances, a Haier company, we're looking for a Manager, Accounting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, cash management activities, and financial reporting. They will also assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, and maintain and improve financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5 years experience in public accounting or experience in a corporate finance or accounting role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to grasp operational processes and assess financial impact of operational decisions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and promote teamwork, accountability and controllership
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Confidence to drive change and make informed decisions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fully bilingual – English & Spanish
• Customer oriented mindset and strong service orientation toward internal stakeholders
