Piping Engineer

We are seeking a Piping Engineer to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee with hybrid flexibility.

Requirements

• Provide design output documentation to support minor facility modifications
• Do pipe stress analysis
• Familiarity with and experience in developing designs in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1
• Works with other engineering disciplines and other plant organizations to produce timely design output
• Requires an understanding of Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with various clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees
• Must be willing to perform field walk-downs and work in a production environment
