Job Description
Provides emergency medical response as a first responder, responds to fires, hazardous material spills, and rescues. Provides fire protection and prevention up to par with local regulations.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Firefighting, theories and concepts in the field and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered
- Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
- Successful Completion of CSFM Firefighter 1
- Current CPAT or Biddle
- Medical treatment up to par with San Diego protocol
- Ability to provide solutions to routine technical problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written applications
