Software Engineers, Canadian Air

Software Engineers are needed to join the Canadian Air team at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada, where they will develop software solutions for mission-critical functions. The role involves performing software requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and integration, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Relevant experience with software development projects
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Ada)
• Experience with Agile software development, object-oriented design tools
• Familiarity with Linux as a host environment and software version control systems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• Positive approach to learning, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for taking ownership of work
