Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer

General Matter is seeking a meticulous Nuclear Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst or Engineer to join their team. The QA Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of operations, equipment, and processes within a nuclear fuel cycle facility.

Requirements

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) programs in compliance with NRC, DOE, and ASME standards
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement
• Oversee the qualification of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with QA requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve technical documentation, including procedures, plans, and reports, to ensure alignment with QA standards
• Support the development of training programs on quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices for facility personnel
• Prepare and present QA performance metrics and reports to management and regulatory bodies
• Participate in regulatory reviews and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with nuclear quality standards
