Counsel

The Counsel, Project Development role is a trusted legal partner to Generate Capital's development teams across a diverse portfolio of energy assets. The ideal candidate has experience in energy project development, EPC agreements, procurement contracts, and offtake agreements, with a generalist mindset and sound judgment under uncertainty.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• Approximately 4 – 8 years of legal experience
• Experience with energy project development, EPC agreements, procurement contracts, and offtake agreements
• Familiarity with permitting, interconnection, and energy regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong attention to detail, sound drafting instincts, and good interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, with strong judgment under ambiguity
