Job Description
Genesee Health System (GHS) is looking for energetic and caring people to join their dynamic clinical team as an Outpatient Therapist. The role involves delivering outpatient individual, family, and group therapy as a primary or secondary provider, and providing crisis intervention and disposition. The team offers medical, vision, and dental benefits, a $2,300 HSA, 5% retirement match, generous paid time off, and 13 paid holidays.
Requirements
- Master's in Social Work
- Michigan Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential
- One (1) year experience working with individuals with mental illness, severe emotional disturbances, and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license, current automobile insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours
- Credentialed or eligible for credentialing through Michigan Certified Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP)
- Training and clinical experience delivering evidence-based therapy modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), DBT, Prolonged Exposure (PE), CBT, TFCBT, FPE, and TREM
