Outpatient Therapist - Satellite Clinic

Genesee Health System is seeking an energetic and caring outpatient therapist to join their dynamic clinical team. The therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy as a primary or secondary provider, and provide crisis intervention and disposition consistent with EBP model expectations.

Requirements

• Master's in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Michigan Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Limited License Psychologist (LLP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential
• One year experience working with individuals with mental illness, severe emotional disturbances, and/or developmental disabilities
• Valid Michigan driver's license, current automobile insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours
• Credentialing through Michigan Certified Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) or registration for a Development Plan to become a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC)
• Training and clinical experience delivering evidence-based therapy modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), DBT, Prolonged Exposure (PE), CBT, TFCBT, FPE, and TREM
• Experience delivering services to persons with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with credentials recognized by the MDHHS
• Ability to work with adults, adolescents, and children, with mild, moderate, or severe mental illness or individuals with an intellectual disability
• Ability to participate in frequent team consultation and supervision group meetings
• Ability to attend all required trainings as scheduled by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) or the agency
