Field Engineer

Genetec is seeking a Field Engineer to provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, including system deployment, audits, and system assessments, and to act as a liaison between Genetec and its customers.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in customer service, technical support, and/or project management
• Excellent administration and troubleshooting skills of various Windows operating systems
• Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols
• Understanding of network storage and server virtualization concepts
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn and evolve with the software
• Strong team player with autonomy to manage workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to travel 30/40% of the time
