Job Description
Genetec is seeking a Dedicated Customer Support EMEA Engineer to provide technical support and training to clients in over 15 countries. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in computer science or equivalent experience, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
- Diploma in computer science, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Ability to analyze, solve problems, and make decisions
- Collaboration and internal communication skills
- Competence to establish and maintain long-term client relationships
- Flexible and adaptable mindset in problem-solving situations
- Professional proficiency in English and French (a third language is a major asset)
- Prior experience in software support / remote deployment
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and their key components
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (switches, routers)
- Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and storage solutions
- Familiarity with server virtualization and client-server architecture
