Architectural Designer

As an Architectural Designer with Gensler's team in Raleigh, you will combine creativity, technical knowledge, and business skills to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. Your role will involve leading architectural deliverables on projects, collaborating with design teams, clients, and consultants, and resolving complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
• Registered/Licensed Architect
• 10-12 years of experience as an architectural designer of ground up base buildings
• Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketch-up, and Revit
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Willingness to engage with and utilize new design technologies and tools, including visual AI
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
• Strong knowledge of the design process and successfully communicating design to teams and clients
• Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
