As a Design Manager/Project Manager at Gensler, you will lead client projects, manage resources, and act as a liaison between the team and client. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to teams and staff, and develop ways to create better client engagements and project efficiencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience, 4+ managing base building and interiors projects and teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or design-related field
- Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams and projects through the entire project lifecycle including post-occupancy
- Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
- Experience negotiating project scope and fees
- Experience working with public and private clients
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structure
- Experience with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
