As a Gensler Mid-Level Designer, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful interior environments for clients. Your responsibilities include design and delivery of interior aspects of a project, selecting and presenting furniture and materials, and collaborating with external consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school
- NCIDQ Certification or Architecture licensure encouraged
- 5 - 8 years of professional experience
- Commercial experience required; Workplace and Corporate Interiors preferred
- Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, 3D and other modeling software programs
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas (3D and 2D)
- Think three-dimensionally with great attention to detail
