Job Description
As a Gensler Technical Designer Junior, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will collaborate with your teammates to develop design solutions and coordinate design through the construction documentation and construction administration phases of core and shell and interior architecture projects.
Requirements
- Collaborate on base building, interior architecture and interior design projects
- Coordinate with Interior Designers, Project Architects and Project Managers
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, consultants, and fabricators
- Produce graphic presentations including 3D renderings, and construction drawings
- Contribute to the production of plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Provide technical support and documentation during completion and execution of all phases of project work
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
- Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
