Technical Designer - Mid Level

Combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients as a Technical Designer in the Toronto office of Gensler.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture minimum, Master of Architecture preferred
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Professional experience working in Revit
• Proficient in Enscape, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Experience working on ground-up or building transformation projects
• Knowledge of local building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
• Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices
