A Parts Professional provides prompt and courteous service to all customers, looks up parts applications, processes orders, and assists customers with technical questions and problems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certification
- Ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers
- Functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work retail hours at any store location
- Able to operate a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission
- Visually capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers
- Able to work on feet for an entire assigned work shift
- Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds
- Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves
