Operations Engineering Director, CMS

The Operations Engineering Director will manage the Manufacturing Engineering, Site Engineering and Engineering Projects teams at the Nuaire facility in Caerphilly, driving a Safety First approach, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and developing an engineering strategy to support business objectives. The role will also involve leading and developing engineering teams, identifying and delivering improvement initiatives, and collaborating across the business to design and implement best practices.

Requirements

• Proven Engineering senior leadership experience in manufacturing across multiple manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience of developing significant capital expenditure programmes.
• Strong Engineering experience including Quality, site, facilities, maintenance and manufacturing engineering.
• A deep understanding of Manufacturing Engineering process and documentation including regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to engage and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally including customers and suppliers.
• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets, as well as a clear understanding and working knowledge of key manufacturing performance drivers and how to impact them.
