Operator - Sugar Shelling (1st Shift)

Georgia Nut Company is a food manufacturing company seeking a Sugar Shelling Machine Operator for its Skokie, IL location. The role is responsible for operating manual sugar shelling conventional panning process and maintaining high quality finished goods.

Requirements

• Report food and quality issues
• Follow allergen procedures and sanitation steps
• Follow all formulas and customer specifications
• Meet/exceed efficiencies
• Document production, quality, safety, and sanitation reports accurately
• Start, stop, adjust, and operate machine
• Train and assist other employees
• Present continuous improvement ideas
• Maintain 5s and validate transfers
• Follow GMPs and company policies
• Report scrap and perform other duties as assigned
