Job Description
GeoSpectrum is hiring an Electrical CAD Designer to join their team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will focus on developing electrical drawings for underwater acoustic systems and play a key role in creating detailed designs, supporting the build and test of electronic components.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in engineering technology and design
- Experience with electrical CAD software, including AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks
- Experience creating electrical assemblies and electronic racks
- Experience in reading engineering documentation, wiring schematics and BOMs
- Practical design testing experience
- Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good teamwork and communication skills
