Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead and oversee facility operations, preventive maintenance, and capital improvement initiatives in a secure, highly regulated manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of all facility infrastructure.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in engineering, business, technology, the skilled trades, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facility operations, building maintenance, or infrastructure management
- Experience within a defence, industrial, manufacturing, or high-security environment is strongly preferred
- Technical & regulatory knowledge of building systems, safety and compliance, provincial building, employment health & safety legislation
- Ability to prepare, manage and report on budget planning, job costing, and purchasing
- Demonstrated experience coordinating contractors, maintenance programs, and facility improvement projects
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driverâs license
- Security Requirements: All candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances
