Job Description
Product Metallurgist I and II roles at Gerdau responsible for assisting in determining and eliminating the root cause of process and product non-conformances, determining process route, practice design and supporting operations, sales, and customer with metallurgical guidance for improvement and resolution.
Requirements
- A four-year college degree, preferably in a Metallurgical Engineering or Steelmaking.
- 1-3 years experience for Product Metallurgist I, 5+ years experience for Product Metallurgist II.
- Knowledge of grade specifications, customer, and industry specifications.
- Basic computer literacy.
