Job Description
We are looking for a Sustaining Engineer (m/w/d) Medical Devices to join our team and develop personally and professionally. The position involves examination and analysis of complaints and failure patterns of electronic medical devices, technical support of existing electronic assemblies, and implementation of design changes.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a degree in engineering or comparable qualification
- First professional experience in the analysis of complex electronic devices (including software)
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering (layout, production, testing)
- Basic knowledge of CE/FDA regulatory requirements
- Ideal knowledge of CAE/PCB programs (e.g. Altium) and ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Experience with ISO 13485 (QM systems) and knowledge of relevant standards, such as IEC 60601-1 (electrical safety), IEC 60601-1-2 (EMC), ISO 14971 (risk management)
- Fast comprehension, especially in complex contexts
- Independent working style and team capability
- High quality and safety awareness
- Assertiveness in technical decisions
- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
