Field Applications Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer with a strong embedded systems background to operate comfortably across customer-facing technical sales, technical communications, and hands-on engineering support.

What You Will Do

Support pre-sales technical engagements with customers and partners, answer technical customer questions, translate customer requirements into clear technical recommendations, and develop technical materials.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or FAE role
• Strong embedded systems background, including firmware/hardware integration
• Comfortable working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
• Confident, extroverted, and comfortable interacting directly with customers and partners
• Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to contribute to proposals, grant applications, and customer-facing technical documentation
