Job Description
ARC is looking for a self-driven individual to join our Newcastle branch as a Day Shift Supervisor. The role is responsible for the safety and day-to-day manufacturing and logistics of the shift, and the supervisor will be coordinating the operational activities of the shift, including management of production staff and quality of work.
Requirements
- Managing a team of Operators
- Ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met and safety standards are maintained
- Leading and managing the shift to ensure the production and output KPIs are met
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders
- Identify and report on opportunities for improvement initiatives
- Managing costs to ensure delivery is met in the most cost-effective manner
- Allocating appropriate manning and ensuring employees are trained, fit, qualified and competent to effectively run operations
