Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to support Whyalla Operations by managing spares and repairable materials across the business.
Requirements
- Experience or understanding of machinery and working in industrial environments such as mining or steelmaking is highly desirable
- Mechanical experience or a trade background is advantageous
- Experience with SAP or similar inventory management software is preferred but not essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and forecast inventory demand
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of inventory optimisation and material planning principles
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
