Job Description
We are looking for a data engineer with experience in distributed environments to design and maintain scalable pipelines, ensure data governance and quality, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has experience with Apache Spark/Pyspark, AWS, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and modernization of legacy systems.
Requirements
- Experience with data engineering in distributed environments
- Knowledge of Apache Spark/Pyspark
- Experience with AWS (Glue, S3, EMR, Athena, Redshift, etc.)
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data pipelines
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with batch and streaming processing
- Experience with Apache Kafka or Amazon MSK
- Experience with Scala
- Familiarity with modernization of legacy systems
- Experience with Delta Lake, Apache Hudi, or Iceberg
- Familiarity with CI/CD for data (dbt, Airflow, Terraform)
