Gigamon seeks a motivated Regional Sales Director to fill a direct sales position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate will identify, qualify, and capture tactical sales opportunities to expand adoption of Gigamon's capabilities.
Requirements
- Advanced level of specialized knowledge with a record of sales success
- Expert in the field
- Responsible for sales of company's products within an assigned geographic territory
- Maintains database of customers and enters interactions with customers in SalesForce database
- Sells new and existing products and discovers new opportunities
- Explores, identifies, and communicates potential opportunities with Regional Business Managers and Product Managers
- Consistently performs effective sales calls and closes new business opportunities
- Provides timely communication and follow-up to customers
- Provides pertinent market and competitive information to the organization
- Develops short and long-range strategies for product expansion
- Collaborates with Product Managers on presentations and product demonstrations
- Represents Sales group on cross-functional teams
- Researches and analyzes territories and company markets
- Provides innovative problem-solving approaches to enhance organizational capabilities
