Senior DevOps Systems Engineer, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite

We are looking for a strong Senior DevOps Systems Engineer to augment the existing platform team for a large analytic cloud repository. The successful DevOps Systems Engineer has experience working with large Hadoop and Accumulo based clusters, a strong background in Linux OS development, and a familiarity with open-source technologies.

Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 or higher required.
• 17+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience administering Kubernetes cluster.
• Experience tuning and managing Kafka.
• Experience installing and managing tracing frameworks like Jaeger.
• Experience with HELM charts, ARGOCD, Ansible, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Thanos, Apache Hadoop, and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Experienced with Python/Go/Java in that order of preference.
• Experience with Linux operating system monitoring and tuning.
• Experience with Open-source applications and Agile development.
