Job Description
The Assistant Health Center Supervisor is responsible for assisting with health services at a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property, providing daily, on-call, and weekly health services for all persons, and supporting the camp team as needed.
Requirements
- Assist in the weekly and daily health screening procedures
- Maintain camp-wide first-aid kits
- Provide support in routine and emergency health procedures
- Communicate with caregivers regarding health care and services provided
- Assist in the cleanliness and organization of the health center
- Provide communication to health supervisor for health/medical supply and equipment requisitions
- Act 'in loco parentis' regarding the health services for all campers
- Support and counsel campers in daily living, camp activities, and developing peer relationships
- Provide health/first aid according to procedures
- Verify staff competence before assigning them health care/first aid care role
Benefits
- Pay: $540 - $600/week plus food and lodging
