Job Description
GKN Aerospace is seeking a Level 2 NDT Technician to join the team in Western Approach, responsible for inspecting and evaluating carbon wing spars and associated components using semi-automated and manual phased array and conventional pulse echo ultrasonic testing techniques.
Requirements
- EN4179 Level 2 qualification in Ultrasonic Inspection of carbon fibre composites
- Ability to read engineering drawings and be mathematically proficient
- Understanding of composite manufacture gained in the Aerospace industry
- Understanding and adherence to aerospace quality standards
- Team player with the ability to work alone in the continuous improvement of NDT processes and documentation
- Willing to work at customer sites as required
