Requirements

• Performing NDT Tests on various Rotating Hardware
• Undertaking training in NDT Methods to achieve Level 2 in Eddy Current, Fluorescent Penetrant, Radiographic, and Ultrasonic Testing
• Implementing Procedures, Instruction & Techniques as required
• Performing Control Checks on Test Method capability
• Documenting and advising local team members of test outcome
• Review and implement customer requirements; such as: Engineering Drawings, Process Specifications and other industry standards
• Operate ultrasonic equipment; such as: a-scan & resonance scopes, phased array equipment and automated scanning systems
• Operate x-ray equipment; such as: robotic scanners and computed radiography data acquisition systems
• Identify and investigate new technologies, processes and/or procedures to maintain or improve NDT capabilities, efficiencies, etc.
• Interface with engineers, internal & external customers, manufacturing personnel and management to improve processes
• Provide guidance, leadership and instruction to other NDT technicians
• Integrate improvements to realize benefits in cost, cycle, and customer satisfaction
