Requirements
- Performing NDT Tests on various Rotating Hardware
- Undertaking training in NDT Methods to achieve Level 2 in Eddy Current, Fluorescent Penetrant, Radiographic, and Ultrasonic Testing
- Implementing Procedures, Instruction & Techniques as required
- Performing Control Checks on Test Method capability
- Documenting and advising local team members of test outcome
- Review and implement customer requirements; such as: Engineering Drawings, Process Specifications and other industry standards
- Operate ultrasonic equipment; such as: a-scan & resonance scopes, phased array equipment and automated scanning systems
- Operate x-ray equipment; such as: robotic scanners and computed radiography data acquisition systems
- Identify and investigate new technologies, processes and/or procedures to maintain or improve NDT capabilities, efficiencies, etc.
- Interface with engineers, internal & external customers, manufacturing personnel and management to improve processes
- Provide guidance, leadership and instruction to other NDT technicians
- Integrate improvements to realize benefits in cost, cycle, and customer satisfaction
