Emergency Medical Technician EMT

Glacial Ridge Ambulance is hiring EMTs to respond from Brooten. We are an independent, hospital-owned service providing skilled, compassionate care and safe transport for patients across our service area. As part of our dedicated team, you’ll respond to emergency calls, deliver essential pre-hospital care, and make a difference for patients and families when every moment counts.

Requirements

• Perform emergency medical care to and transport ill and injured persons
• Promote an environment of teamwork with fellow crew and various outside agencies
• Respond to ambulance runs and calls in a timely manner
• Maintain vehicle compartments and equipment
• Collect and record patient data, assessments, and treatments provided
• Perform work related to public relations as required
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading maps – paper, electronic or otherwise – and navigating the call area
• Maintain active status by signing up for the minimum required hours each month
• Perform any and all duties requested or assigned by the manager or their designee
