CNC ODID Grinder (Aerospace)

The ID/OD Grinder is responsible for setting-up, operating and tending grinding. Grinding applications will span aerospace grade cylindrical grinding production & specialized tool/spindle grinding.

Requirements

• Specializes in operating CNC and ID/OD grinders used in making or maintaining jigs, fixtures, gages and production aerospace parts.
• Planning and performing difficult grinding operations which require complicated setups or a high degree of accuracy.
• Determine proper feeds, speeds, tooling and operation sequence or select those prescribed in drawings, blueprints or layouts; using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
