The IT Specialist Application Programmer is responsible for the successful delivery of information engineering, requirement definition, software design and enhancements, development, scripting functions, and maintenance to include adherence with configuration management processes, and testing and evaluations process support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred with two (2) years of related experience; but will accept six (6) years' direct experience with information system programming with no degree
- Programming in Visual Basic.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ASP, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, Adobe LiveCycle, Microsoft SQL, and 'mobile applications' for Android and/or iOS as well as web site maintenance using ASP/ASP.NET, and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS)
- Must obtain and maintain certification(s) for IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, or SSCP) in compliance with DoD Directive 8570.1-M
- Ability to pass and maintain a government background check
- Knowledge of Command Integrated Recruiting Information Management Systems (CIRIMS) is a plus
