Corporate Counsel

Global Relay is seeking a dynamic Corporate Counsel to support complex commercial, regulatory, and operational matters across the business. The role involves advising on emerging issues at the intersection of technology and law, including artificial intelligence, data protection, cybersecurity, privacy, surveillance, and data sovereignty. As a key business partner, you will contribute to key business initiatives, not solely legal tasks.

Requirements

• UK-qualified solicitor with 2–10 years of PQE, ideally gained within a leading law firm’s commercial practice or an in-house SaaS environment
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a wide range of commercial and technology agreements
• Understanding of the global privacy and security landscape, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and HIPAA
• Experience working on cybersecurity and privacy-related transactional matters across North America and Europe with highly regulated customers
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal clients and business partners from various functions across Global Relay’s offices
• Organizational skills and ability to be flexible and self-directed in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
