Job Description
We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst with experience in data cataloging, lineage configuration, and metadata-driven governance solutions. The ideal candidate will support enterprise data governance initiatives and implement the Alation platform for Data Catalog and Data Quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data architecture roles
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Alation, including full lifecycle implementation in enterprise environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for metadata automation and analysis
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data lineage
