Job Description
GlobalFoundries is looking for a Junior Silicon Photonics Design Engineer to join their photonics team and contribute to the design and development of next-generation silicon photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Applied Physics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in silicon photonics, integrated optics, or a closely related area
- Basic understanding of optical waveguides and photonic components
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Lumerical, IPKISS, Photon Design, or similar
- Basic knowledge of CMOS fabrication concepts
