Job Description
The Systems Administrator is responsible for server installation, maintenance, back up and security, along with performance tuning and capacity planning. The SA will work with the Systems Management Team Lead to understand the scope of services and assess the impact on technical infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience
- Strong VMWare Experience
- Storage Area Network (SAN) Experience
- ASA Firewall Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
- Proficient with Microsoft Group Policies
- Host and maintain server
- Patching/software upgrades
- Volume/partition space management
- Hardware maintenance for all non-Infrastructure-managed member servers
- Operating system maintenance for all non-Infrastructure-managed member servers
- Maintain level of member server system security by applying Service Packs and security patches
- Backup/recovery
- Full disaster recovery plan and practice
