Network Operations Engineer at Globe in Davao. Provide first level maintenance and 24/7 Surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport and Access Networks. Monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams.
Requirements
- 1st level troubleshooting of trouble tickets for outages and quality
- Logical Assistance to ANM, Tier2 for all domains within Access Network AOR
- Investigates anomaly in HW/SW, Capacity, Configuration Issues and coordinates with Tier2 for 2nd level support / vendor support / engineering support
- Ensures ticket is issued and assigned to appropriate section
- Monitors clearing and assures closure of ticket in timely manner with minimum requirement of details for Network Fault Analytics and Regional Performance
- Performs vertical and horizontal escalation during instances of network outages or degradation in the region
- Provides regular and timely information on the status of resolution of outages and quality degradation
- Flags the section if ongoing restoration is at risk of meeting restoration standards
- Addresses service issues and assures their resolution is implemented
- Performs service restoration activities such as resetting, rehoming and rerouting when outages or degradation occur
- Implements emergency change requests and activities
- Knowledge of company products and services
- Requires the flexibility to work diverse shift patterns within a 24/7 environment
