Job Description
The Family Worker/Family Advocate provides individual and group interventions with parents, caregivers, children, and young people to improve outcomes for children and families. They work in partnership with parents to strengthen parental capacity and family relationships, and increase parental engagement in their local community and in their children’s education.
Requirements
- High School Diploma minimum, some college preferred or Family Development Credential
- Knowledge of working with children and families through a multi-generational approach
- Experience providing services to children and families in diverse communities
