Job Description
GoNetspeed is seeking a skilled and motivated Safety Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a desire to become a long-term member of the GoNetspeed team.
Requirements
- Perform a minimum of 15 field observations weekly.
- Maintain physical records of field observations.
- Attend and participate in the Monthly Safety Committee Meeting.
- Willing to travel out of state as needed between Monday thru Friday.
- Perform New Hire Orientations and E-Safety Training.
- Maintain records of New Hire Safety training.
- Report weekly (Friday) to Department managers and Directors, field observations.
- Perform 5-10 observations weekly on sub-contractors.
- Distribute and maintain PPE at the offices. (As well as monitoring usage).
- Weekly, Monday morning zoom meeting for brainstorming safety issues with Safety Department.
- Monthly Exit, Extinguisher, forklift, and grounds inspections.
- Maintain records of Fork truck inspections/ ladder inspections/ warehouse inspections.
