RN Weekend Baylor (36 hrs, Fri, Sat, Sun)

Good Shepherd Community Care seeks a Weekend Nurse to join its On-Call team, providing care to patients in private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of MetroWest. The ideal candidate is well-organized and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of hospice or equivalent nursing experience
• Sensitivity to and knowledge about end-of-life issues
• Comfortable working with socioculturally diverse patients/families
• Demonstrates ability to manage pain and control symptoms
• Demonstrates flexibility and multitasking abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Adaptable to frequently changing patient needs
• Adaptable to technology
• Good interpersonal skills
