GoodRx is seeking a Sr. SDET to lead and train quality engineering team members, evaluate existing automation frameworks, and recommend proven automation tools and techniques to elevate the quality of releases. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and expertise in automation frameworks, version control systems, and continuous integration tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience in a similar field
- Experience with automation frameworks testing Web Apps, Mobile Apps, and/or API's using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, pyTest, and Cucumber
- Hands-on experience using version control systems such as Git and a solid understanding of Git workflows
- Experience working with external testing solutions such as BrowserStack or Saucelabs
- Strong software development skills and a solid understanding of software development practices and methodologies (code structure, unit testing, mocking, algorithms, etc)
- Hands-on experience with cross browser compatibility testing of web applications and mobile applications
- Knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing
- Hands-on experience working with continuous integration tools
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MongoDB, SQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and generative AI to enhance automated test development, improve defect detection, and increase test coverage across web and API platforms
