Job Description
This position is for an Arborist 2 within the Production Team of GTC. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, performing quality tree work, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with Production Manager. The Arborist 2 will also perform post-trip inspections and manage crew productivity.
Requirements
- Arborist II: All qualifications of Arborist V-III
- Minimum of 2-year experience.
- Ability to access and climb most trees.
- Ability to perform tree work efficiently and at a high-quality standard.
- Ability to identify trees and shrubs.
- Ability to operate company equipment and train trainees.
- Ability to identify basic PHC issues.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry 25/50/80 lbs.
- Must be able to work around moving machinery/heavy equipment.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
