The Personal Care Worker will increase the quality of life through promotion of independence within the home by assisting with light homemaking, non-medical personal care, home management, and emotional support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience in a social service, counseling, or rehabilitation setting
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports and plans
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of community resources
- Ability to interact and work cooperatively and effectively with clients, coworkers, supervisors, family members, and community referral sources
